17 women, 13 men busted in Waterbury prostitution bust - WFSB 3 Connecticut

The Waterbury Police Department conducted an undercover operation Thursday night targeting both prostitutes and johns in the Brass City.
Two undercover male officers posed as johns and arrested 17 women who offered to perform sexual acts on them in exchange for money.
In addition, the Waterbury Police Department said, two undercover female officers posed as prostitutes and arrested 13 men for patronizing a prostitute by offering to pay for sexual acts.
Police said the operation was conducted in the Willow/Hillside/Grove areas of the city.
Police said Thursday night's operation was part of an ongoing effort to address quality of life issues in the Hillside neighborhood of Waterbury.
