Connecticut man shot to death in South Carolina club

Pawleys Island, S.C. (WFSB/AP) -

A man from Connecticut was shot and killed at a club in Pawleys Island, SC, early Saturday morning.

Police officials said Sean Edwards, 21, was shot in the chest around 2:30 a.m.

Eyewitness News has learned that Edwards was from New Haven.

According to his Facebook page, Edwards graduated from Hill House High School in 2010.

So far, police said no one has been charged in the shooting.

Police said the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
