Two people shot in Hartford overnight

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Police said two people were shot in Hartford late Saturday night.

Officials were called to the area of 1011 Albany Ave. just before 10 p.m. Saturday for reports of shots fired.

Responding officers found a juvenile male victim suffering gunshot wounds to the right calf. He was transported to Connecticut Children's Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

Another victim was located in the area of 1037 Albany Ave., police said. The man was shot in the lower back and was taken to St. Francis Hospital. Officials said the victim remains in serious, but stable, condition at the hospital.

Police have not identified either victim.

Police have also not yet identified any suspects in the shooting.

The case remains under investigation.
