WATERBURY, CT (WFSB) -
Officers from the Waterbury Police Department continue to search for suspects in a hit-and-run accident that killed an elderly woman over the weekend.
According to police, Nella Atkins, 90, was walking near the intersection of Bradley and Highland avenues early Saturday morning when she was hit by an unidentified motor vehicle. Atkins was rushed to Waterbury Hospital where she died a short time later.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and no arrests have been made at this time, according to police.
