WEST HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -
An argument over a toy caused a West Haven man to bite a child while watching his girlfriend's two children.
Brian Keil, 25, of Peck Avenue was charged with risk of injury to a child after he bit a 5-year-old on the shoulder Monday night, according to police.
The child suffered a minor bruise that was noticed by the child's father, police said.
The incident occurred after the 5-year-old was fighting with his 8-year-old sibling over a toy.
Police said Keil bit the child as a form of discipline.
