Driver crashes into house in Rocky Hill

ROCKY HILL, CT (WFSB) -

A driver crashed into a house on Elm Street shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday.

According to witnesses, it appeared that a male driver was showing off as a group of cheerleaders practiced at the nearby Elm Ridge Park.

The male lost control of a Dodge Durango and crashed into the house at 381 Elm St. Officials on scene said the house is structurally unstable and three individuals that were home at the time were unharmed.

The driver was transported to Hartford Hospital.

Eyewitness News reporter Matthew Campbell will have more on the crash at 11 p.m.
