STRATFORD, CT (WFSB) -
A Bridgeport man is listed in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital Tuesday night after an afternoon evading accident.
According to police, 25-year-old David Weiler of Bridgeport was traveling east on Barnum Avenue near California Street when he was struck by a car.
The car then fled the scene, but witnesses described it as a silver car driven by a female in her 20s.
The evading vehicle was located after the driver, Courtney Holifield, 35, of Stratford surrendered herself to Stratford officers.
Holifield was placed under arrest and charged with felony evading. Further charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
