NAUGATUCK, CT (WFSB) -
Police are investigating a family dispute that led to two men being shot.
According to Naugatuck police, 911 emergency calls reporting shots fired in the area of 538 South Main St. began coming in around 9 p.m. Friday.
Responding officers located two male victims each suffering from gunshot wounds. A 31-year-old Naugatuck resident was struck in the foot and a 26-year-old was stuck in the leg.
Neither victim had life-threatening injuries and the shooter was identified as Francisco Tellado of Waterbury.
Investigators reached Tellado by telephone and Waterbury officers assisted in taking him into custody.
According to police, the incident stemmed from an isolated family dispute. The victims are related to the accused and the case remains under investigation.
