SCOTTS HILL, Tenn. (AP) - A Utah woman kidnapped and held captive for nine months when she was 14-years-old told family and friends of a missing Tennessee nursing student to continue searching for her and to not lose hope that she is alive.
Elizabeth Smart spoke to about 1,000 friends and family of Holly Bobo on Monday night at Scotts Hill High School, in the area in West Tennessee where searchers have been looking for Bobo since she was abducted 16 months ago.
Smart was found nine months after her abduction in 2002.
Bobo was 20 when she was last seen in April 2011. Her brother said he saw her being led into the woods by a man in hunting gear near the family's home in Parsons.
