ESPN says it is donating another $1 million to help build a new Boys & Girls Club and Family Center in Bristol.
The Bristol-based sports broadcasting giant had already given $400,000 in 2009 to help the Boys & Girls Club buy the land for the building.
Plans for the 38,000-square foot facility include a teen center, and arts and crafts center and 14,000-squre foot field house for athletics.
It will replace the organization's 85-year-old center in Bristol.
ESPN Executive Chairman George Bodenheimer is a Boys & Girls club alumnus. He says the donation is an investment in the future of both children and ESPN's home community.
