New Milford community mourns after deadly house explosion

NEW MILFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Neighbors in New Milford held a vigil Thursday night for the victims of a deadly house explosion.

Anthony Fratino, 47, was helping to fix a propane leak inside a home on Sunny Valley Road on Wednesday evening and was killed when the house exploded.

His 9-year-old son, Nicholas, was hurt in the blast and is in critical condition at a hospital in Boston.

The homeowner, John Wilkinson, 47, was also injured and is recovering from his injuries at Bridgeport Hospital's Burn Unit.
