BRIDGEPORT, CT (WFSB) -
Police in Bridgeport are investigating an overnight homicide.
Officials said it happened just before 1:30 a.m. on Saturday morning near the entrance to Kolbe Cathedral High School on Calhoun Place.
Police said the victim suffered several gunshot wounds and had already died when officers arrived at the scene.
Officials have not yet released the name of the victim, but neighbors told Eyewitness News the victim was a man in his thirties.
Police have not made any arrests and are continuing to investigate the shooting.
