One killed and several injured in overnight crash

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

One person was killed in an early morning crash in Hartford.

It happened around 4:30 a.m. this morning in the area of New Britain Avenue and Ansonia Street.

Police told Eyewitness News that one person has died as a result of injuries suffered in the crash. Officials have not released the name of the victim.

Six other victims were taken to Hartford Hospital. Their current conditions remain unknown.

No other details were released.
