Somers man critically injured in motorcycle crash

EAST WINDSOR, CT (WFSB) -

A man from Somers was critically injured in a motorcycle crash in East Windsor.

It happened around 6:15 a.m. Saturday morning in the area of Broad Brook Road in East Windsor.

Police said the driver of the motorcycle, identified as Edward Kutz, 27, of Somers, was taken by LifeStar medical helicopter to Hartford Hospital. He was listed in critical condition.

Officials said Broad Brook Road was closed for several hours while police cleared the scene.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who has any information is asked to contact East Windsor police.
