WATERFORD, CT (WFSB) -
A family in Waterford has been temporarily displaced after a basement fire at their home, late Sunday morning.
Fire crews responded to a reported structure fire at a home located at 24 Devonshire Drive, around 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
Officials said it was a dryer fire. They said the flames were contained to the basement and first floor levels of the home.
According to officials, no one was injured in the fire.
Eyewitness News has learned that a family living at the home will be temporarily displaced due to the damage.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
