HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -
Police are searching for a man responsible for an overnight carjacking in Hartford.
It happened just before 4 a.m. Sunday morning in the vicinity of Rosemont Street.
Officials said a man was leaving a nearby bar when he was approached by the suspect, who was holding a gun.
According to authorities, the suspect demanded the man surrender his wallet and car keys. The suspect was then able to get away in the man's car.
The suspect was described by police as a black male in his late 20s. He is approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build.
Officials said the suspect may be driving a 2008 model year Scion with Louisiana license plates.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Hartford police.
