Connecticut is sending a contingent of 102 people to Charlotte, N.C., for the Democratic National Convention including Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, who is scheduled to address the gathering.
The group includes 88 delegates, six alternates, six Democratic National Committee members and two pages.
Also scheduled to attend are former U.S. Sen. Chris Dodd, current U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal and Reps. Chris Murphy, Joe Courtney, Jim Himes, Rosa DeLauro and John Larson.
The convention runs Tuesday through Thursday.
Malloy will address the delegates at 6 p.m. Wednesday. He is also speaking to the New Jersey, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Virginia and Wyoming delegations.
The state Democratic Party staff traveled to Charlotte in a RV with 200 pounds of office equipment to set up a mobile office.
