Powerball ticket worth $2M bought in Conn.

ROCKY HILL, CT (WFSB) -

One lucky person who bought a Powerball ticket in Connecticut is now $2 million richer.

While there were no jackpot winners during Wednesday night's drawing, one person who bought a ticket in the state is waking up to some incredibly wonderful news.

Wednesday's Powerball numbers were: 4-19-26-42-51 PB-29. Connecticut's winner matched all five numbers, but missed the Powerball.

Normally it's a $1 million prize, but the player added the Power Play feature for an extra $1 and it automatically doubled the prize to $2 million - the first time that's happened here in Connecticut.

The multi-million dollar winner has yet to step forward to claim their prize and as a result, CT Lottery officials are urging players to check their tickets.
