Person shot in Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, CT (WFSB) -

Bridgeport police said a person was shot on Saturday afternoon.

According to police, the person was shot in the area of 739 Bishop Ave. before 3:30 p.m.

The extent of injuries or condition of the victim is unknown.

No other information was released.
