NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -
A New Haven man was killed in an early morning car crash in New Haven on Saturday morning.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning, in the area of Middletown Avenue, near Interstate 91.
Police said Jose Suarez, of New Haven, suffered fatal injuries after losing control of the van he was driving.
Officials said Suarez, was driving at a high speed when he lost control and left the roadway. Police said Suarez was thrown from the vehicle, which then rolled on top of him.
Officers with New Haven police department's crash team are now investigating the crash.
No other information was released.
