McDonald's manager injured during robbery in Newington

NEWINGTON, CT (WFSB) -

The Newington Police Department is searching for the people responsible for robbery at the McDonald's on the Berlin Turnpike on Monday morning.

Police were called to 2375 Berlin Tpke. just before 10 a.m. after a report of a robbery. Officers confirmed that they are searching for two suspects.

The manager of the McDonald's suffered minor injuries after being hit in the head by one of the suspects. No weapons were shown by the suspects, police said.

The case is still under investigation by police.
