SOUTH WINDSOR, CT (WFSB) -
Residents in South Windsor are being advised that the traffic lights are not working at various locations along Route 5.
A branch damaged the wires sometime before 6 p.m., according to police.
The traffic lights are not working near the intersections of Sullivan Avenue, Strong and Scantic roads.
There is no time table as to when the lights will be fixed. However, Connecticut Light and Power is on the scene and working on restoring power.
There are 358, or 3 percent, of the customers in South Windsor without power, according to its website.
