Sept. 11th ceremonies happening across CT

Memorial ceremonies will be held across Connecticut in several communities Tuesday as we mark 11 years since the deadly attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

A list of the ceremonies can be found below:

  • Avon - 8:30 a.m., Avon Volunteer Fire Dept. Company 1, 25 Darling Dr.
  • Bridgeport - 10 a.m., Morton Government Center, 999 Broad St.
  • Enfield - 6 p.m., Enfield Fire Station Two, 199 Weymouth Ave.
  • Fairfield - 9 a.m., Fire Headquarters, 140 Reef Rd.
  • Groton - 7:15 a.m., Grasso Technical High School, 189 Fort Hill Rd.
  • Middletown - 10 a.m., South Fire District, 445 Randolph Rd.
  • Milford - 10 a.m., Live Oaks School, 575 Merwin Ave.
  • Stamford - 9:30 a.m., Stamford Fire Dept. Station 5, 1620 Washington Blvd.
  • West Haven - 11 a.m., University of New Haven, Maxcy Quad, 300 Boston Post Rd.
