Crash briefly closes westbound side of Arrigoni Bridge

PORTLAND, CT (WFSB) -

A crash briefly closed the westbound side of the Arrigoni Bridge on Tuesday morning.

The crash was reported just before 8 a.m., and as a result the lane was shutdown from the Portland side to the Middletown side, according to the Portland Police Department.

It was unknown how many vehicles were involved, or if anyone was injured.

The bridge was reopened a short time later.
