NEW LONDON, CT (WFSB) -
New London police said one man was killed after an overnight stabbing in the city.
Police were called to an apartment complex located at 187 Huntingdon St. around 10:30 p.m. after receiving reports that a man had been stabbed multiple times.
When they arrived, police said they found a 34-year-old man of Hispanic descent suffering from stab wounds to his abdomen.
The unresponsive man was first brought to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital before being brought to Yale-New Haven Hospital via LIFE STAR medical helicopter to be treated for serious injuries.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead a short time later.
Connecticut State Police and members of the New London Police Department have been investigating the incident and a description of the person responsible for the stabbing has not been released.
