Members of the East Central Narcotics Task Force have arrested two men during a undercover buy operation in Glastonbury.
Officers conducted the operation Thursday in the parking lot of the McDonald's on Main Street.
Police said a crack cocaine dealer by the name of "Dread" was going to be arriving to sell narcotics.
Police later identified "Dread" as 34-year-old Richard Evans of Hartford. He was arrested and charged with possession and sale of cocaine.
Police said they seized 1.8 grams of crack cocaine, along with $409 cash and the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, 32-year-old Almar Sterling of Bloomfield, was also arrested and charged with possession and sale of cocaine.
Police said Evans and Sterling both have extensive criminal histories in Connecticut, including prior narcotics arrests.
Evans is also currently on probation for manslaughter and Sterling for first-degree assault with a firearm.
Both men are being held on $260,000 bonds.
