No one injured in Waterford house fire

WATERFORD, CT (WFSB) -

The Waterford Fire Department was able to quickly extinguish a house fire Friday evening.

Firefighters were called to 520 Boston Post Rd. around 4:30 p.m. for a reported structure fire. The fire at the single-story ranch was knocked down within 20 minutes.

No one was injured in the fire. However, two dogs were killed.

The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
