Three Ansonia men were arrested for residential burglaries

ANSONIA, CT (WFSB) -

Ansonia police arrested three men who they said were responsible for a string of residential burglaries.

Jeffrey Lewis, 19, of 15 May St. Apt. 2,  Christopher Cloud, 22, of 9 Crescent St., 
Emmanuel Johnson, 23, of 16 May St., were charged with sixth-degree larceny and were held on $500 bond. Johnson and Lewis were scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Derby Monday and Cloud, who posted bail, is expected to appear in court Sept. 28.

Police said officers found stolen electronics and jewelry along with money and other items at the men's residences Friday. Police are still trying to determine the owners of all the stolen items.

Ansonia police are still investigating the case and more arrests are expected.
