I-91 in Meriden opened after accident

MERIDEN, CT (WFSB -

A multiple motor vehicle crash has stopped traffic and shutdown Interstate 91 southbound near Exits 17 and 18 in Meriden Monday evening.

The left and center lanes opened at 6:20 p.m., which was about 45 minutes after the crash occurred, state police said. The highway should be completely open by 6:30 p.m., police added.
