Murder investigation under way in New Haven

NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -

The killing of a man in New Haven is being investigated by police.

The New Haven Police Department said 29-year-old Joseph Mirvil was found suffering from gunshot wounds on Malcomb Court on Tuesday night.

He was brought to Yale-New Haven Hospital where he died a short time later.

It was unknown if anyone has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
