WILLINGTON, CT (WFSB) -
No one was injured during a porch fire in Willington on Thursday afternoon.
Firefighters were at 245 Tolland Tpke. just before 4:30 p.m. for a reported structure fire. The fire spread from the porch to the second floor, officials said.
The homeowner was able to get out of home without getting hurt, officials said. No firefighters were hurt fighting the fire.
The fire was contained and is under control, officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
