Portland man accused of robbery due in court

PORTLAND, CT (WFSB) -

A man from Portland accused of holding up a gas station is expected to appear before a judge Friday.

Police said 40-year-old John Senesac entered the Citgo gas station on Route 66 Thursday afternoon, threatened the clerk with a knife and demanded money.

Police said they were able to find Senesac a short time later near the Riverdale Motel.

He's now facing several charges including robbery and larceny.
