Two people are dead in New Canaan after a murder-suicide

NEW CANAAN, CT (WFSB) -

New Canaan police are investigating a murder-suicide that has left two people dead Friday afternoon.

Officers were called to a home at 133 Park St. at 2:40 p.m. for a report of shots fired. Police found a man and a woman dead. One of the two people died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.

The incident is under investigation by police.
