Car fire closes interstate 91 northbound

WALLINGFORD, CT (WFSB) -

State police said that the northbound side of Interstate 91 is closed in Wallingford because a car fire.

It happened just before 3 p.m. near exit 13.

Police are currently working to clear the scene, but did not say when the highway would reopen.

Officials said there were only minor injuries.

No other information has been released.
