SOUTH WINDSOR, CT (WFSB) -

South Windsor police arrested a New York man twice over the weekend on domestic abuse charges.

Officers were called to a home on Indian Trail on Friday around 9 p.m. for a reported domestic dispute. Nathaniel Pratt, 40, Patchogue, NY, grabbed a woman and began choking her following an argument, police said.

Pratt, of 175 Swan Lake Dr., was charged with third-degree assault. South Windsor police also learned that he was wanted by the Hartford Police Department for second-degree failure to appear.

Pratt was released on a $5,000 bond.

Police returned to the same home on Indian Trail on Sunday around 10 p.m. for another domestic disturbance.

Pratt was breaking items in the home when a family member called officers, police said.

He was charged with first-degree criminal trespass, criminal violation of conditions of release and breach of peace.

Pratt was held on a $25,000 bond for those charges. He was scheduled to appear at Superior Court in Manchester on Monday for all charges.

Pratt's case was nolled in October, according to Manchester Superior Court.
