Former UConn player arrested for violating probation

Posted: Updated:

A former University of Connecticut basketball captain convicted of sexual assault has been arrested for violating his probation.

Robert Dulin, 53, was arrested Monday.

Police said he attended a high school volleyball game and a party for the 8th graders at his home, but never got permission from his probation officer.

Dulin, who played for UConn in the 1970s, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for having an improper relationship with one of the players he coached.
