State police investigating Andover robbery

ANDOVER, CT (WFSB) -

Connecticut State Police are investigating an armed robbery in Andover.

The armed robbery was reported at the 7-Eleven on Route 6 just before 12:30 a.m.

Connecticut State Police said an unknown Hispanic man walked into the store holding a gun and demanded money from the cash register.

After stealing the money, the man fled the scene and was last seen headed north on Route 6.

No injuries were reported.

State police described the man as being between 5'6" and 5'8" tall, weighing about 145 pounds.

He was wearing a black, long sleeve hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers with two white stripes.

Troopers have not released many details about the robbery.
