Silver Alert issued for 38-year-old from West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

West Hartford police are looking for James Cyr, who was last seen on Albany Avenue Sunday wearing blue jeans and a green T-shirt.

According to police, Cyr, 38, believes he is a priest and could be found preaching in the surrounding area. He believes he is on the run from the FBI and spirits.

Cyr, who has no money, credit cards or identification on him, suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and is without his medications.

The last time Cyr went missing, he was found near death in a swamp. He will gravitate toward wooded areas because he feels they are safe.

Cyr is described as a 5'7" tall white man with brown hair and brown eyes weighing 170 pounds.
