Easy Cocktails for Tailgating Season from Mionetto

Sparkling Peach Treacle Punch

Ingredients:

Two Cup Washed sliced Local peaches
Two Cup Granulated sugar
Two Cup Local Apple Cider
3/4 Cup Spiced Rum
1/2 Cup Lemon Juice
Mionetto "IL" Moscato or "IL" Prosecco

Directions:

In a saucepan add Apple cider, Peaches, and Sugar.
on Medium to low heat stir until sugar dissolves and peaches become soft.
Transfer Mixture to a bowl and cover.
Place bowl in refrigerator overnight.

Next day remove bowl, Strain mixture into punch bowl or large game day container.
Add spiced Rum and Lemon Juice, Stir.

Serve Warm, or cold but not without topping off with Either Mionetto "IL" Moscato or "IL" Prosecco to taste depending on how sweet or dry you prefer.

Cheri's Sliders

Ingredients:

Pork Shoulder or Pork Butt
BBQ Spice Rub
BBQ Sauce
Buns (Potato)

Directions:

In a covered roasting pan place the pork with your favorite spice rub on the surface. Pour your favorite BBQ sauce or home made on the top of the pork. I like to add cored apple slices dusted with cinnamon on and around. Place, covered, in a 250 degree oven for 4-6 hours.

Remove from the oven and let sit for 1 hour.
Remove from the pan and pull the pork apart into bite-size pieces,
separate the meat from the fat. Skim the fat off of the drippings in the pan, and replace pulled pork pieces into the drippings.
cold on the buns with BBQ sauce and cheddar cheese slices.
