Bristol man charged with killing roommate due in court

BRISTOL, CT (WFSB) -

A man from Bristol charged with murder is due back in court Tuesday.

Police said 38-year-old Michel Torres killed 35-year-old Stephen Cassidy at a multi-family home on Wolcott Street last month.

When officers arrived, they said Torres had barricaded himself in an attic space in the apartment, but eventually gave himself up.
