MANCHESTER, CT (WFSB) -
A Glastonbury mother accused of hosting an underage drinking party last month will not face charges, according to the Hartford Courant.
Police arrested Christine Conroy and charged her with delivering alcohol to a minor, hosting an underage drinking party, possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Conroy said her arrest was in retaliation for filing a complaint after police were called to her home in August after neighbors in an upscale golf course community complained that kids were entering and leaving her home at all hours of the day and night, according to the Courant.
On Monday, Conroy learned that the charges would be dropped, but prosecutors didn't say what prompted the decision to drop the charges.
