MIDDLETOWN, CT (WFSB) -
The Middletown Police Department said the deaths of two women in the city are still being investigated and urged residents that they are in no way connected to each other.
Police said they were still investigating the death of Diana Eichler, who was found dead on Minor Street on June 16, and are investigating what caused the death of Jessica Sanchez, who was found dead in an alley between two buildings Sunday.
Police in Middletown said they wanted to reassure the Middletown community that the deaths are not related, and detectives have thoroughly and completely reviewed the evidence in both cases, and it's clear they are two independent occurrences.
