Water has been restored to all customers in a Windsor neighborhood after a main break Wednesday morning.
The water main break occurred in the area of 616 Poquonuck Ave. and Shay Street just before 8:30 a.m, according to Metropolitan District Commission officials.
Four businesses and four homes were affected by the break, MDC officials said.
According to MDC officials, it was a 12-inch water main, which was built in 1948, that broke.
The road was never closed while the problem was being fixed by the Metropolitan District Commission workers. The scene was cleared around 5 p.m.
One lane of the road was shut down so crews could respond to the issue.
