Man recovering after being hit by car in East Hartford

EAST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

A man in East Hartford is recovering after being hit by a car.

Police said the man was crossing Burnside Avenue around 8 p.m. when he was struck by the vehicle.

Police said, so far, the driver is not facing charges.

The man that was hit is recovering in a local hospital.
