Route 44 in Norfolk closed after tractor-trailer accident

NORFOLK, CT (WFSB) -

A tractor-trailer crash has shut down Route 44 in Norfolk Thursday afternoon.

The crash occurred near the Tim O'Connor Road intersection just after 2 p.m. The tractor-trailer crashed into a pole and wires are down, according to the Department of Transportation.

DOT did not know when the crash will be cleared.
