Man in court on gun charges

BOZRAH, CT (WFSB) -

Police are still investigating whether a gun seized during a traffic stop is connected to a recent homicide.

The person found with the gun, 34-year-old Dequan McKethan, will appear in court Friday on weapons and drug charges.

Police said a gun found in his car during a traffic stop matches the one used in a recent murder in Bozrah.

Last week, a man's body was found on a baseball field in town.

McKethan has not been named a suspect in the killing.
