NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB/AP) -
Two suspected terrorists have pleaded not guilty in New Haven Federal Court on Saturday morning.
The two men, identified as Babar Ahmad and Syed Talha Ahsan, are accused of recruiting al-Qaida terrorists using Taliban websites.
Both suspects appeared in court Saturday morning, after being extradited from Great Britain.
Both men are being tried in Connecticut because the Internet service providers used to run those websites is based in the state, according to officials.
Two Connecticut based attorneys are representing the suspects. Both attorneys declined to comment Saturday morning.
If convicted, Ahmad and Ahsan could face up to life in prison.
