STORRS, CT (WFSB) -

UConn running back Lyle McCombs was arrested Friday by campus police, after an alleged domestic dispute with his girlfriend.

Police said McCombs yelled at his girlfriend and pushed her during a fight outside a UConn residential hall Friday. McCombs is also accused of spitting on her during the fight.

McCombs was charged with second-degree breach of peace, and was released on a $500 nonsurety bond.

McCombs is currently a sophomore at the University of Connecticut, and is a running back for the UConn football team.
