STORRS, CT (WFSB) -
UConn running back Lyle McCombs was arrested Friday by campus police, after an alleged domestic dispute with his girlfriend.
Police said McCombs yelled at his girlfriend and pushed her during a fight outside a UConn residential hall Friday. McCombs is also accused of spitting on her during the fight.
McCombs was charged with second-degree breach of peace, and was released on a $500 nonsurety bond.
McCombs is currently a sophomore at the University of Connecticut, and is a running back for the UConn football team.
