Man accused of following woman home, sexually assaulting her

VERNON, CT (WFSB) -

A man in Vernon is facing charges after police said he followed a woman home from the store and raped her.

Investigators said 22-year-old Wayne Brown met the victim at the Rockville Market on East Main Street.

Police said he followed her home, asked to use the bathroom and then attacked her.

Brown was in court Tuesday and is expected back in court at the end of the month.
