WEST HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -

A West Haven man was arrested after police said he robbed a Spanish food truck at gunpoint in September.

On Sept. 14, officers were called to the intersection of Dana Street and First Avenue just before noon for a reported armed robbery. Upon arrival, police learned that a man displayed a handgun, threatened the employee at the food truck and fled on foot with $80.

No one was injured during the robbery, police said.

On Wednesday, police arrested Kemarr Hardy, 28, of 12 Glade St.

Hardy dropped his cell phone and hat while leaving the scene, police said.

Hardy was charged with second-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.
